Partnership
Recently, we learned partnership in accounting class. After learning that, I can not help thinking about a movie, which is called Chinese Partner. I am really in favor of this movie, and I have watched it for three times.
This is a story about three best friends, and they want to set up a company, which is a English teaching company can help Chinese students get the chance to study aboard. About the partnership, it has advantages and disadvantages. Firstly, you have to choose someone you trust to be your partners, just like the movie, they are best friends and classmates in the university.
When we learned accounting, we know that there are some disadvantages in the partnership, like the Limit Partnership (LP). Only the general partner can make the final decisions. In the movie, one of the partners wants to expand their company to America, but the general partner didn't agree with that. By this way, they have an argument and then break their relationship.
After that, the American company said their students plagiarize and asked them to pay the price for this. As their relationship has broken, only one of the partners went to America. Surprisingly, his partner came back to him and help him to solve the problem. At the end of the movie, the company became successful. From the that, we can also know that the importance to find a good partner who you can trust.
From the movie, we can also see the advantages of partnership. For instance, they are all poor student when they graduated from university, but the set up the company and run it successfully, as the partnership is easy to set up for everyone can put some money in. Besides, they can help each other when they run the business so that the can make the better decision. Like one of them decided to appear their company on the market, and the discuss a long time, then they did it, and run the business successfully.
The movie is so interesting as it including how to run a business successfully and talks about the importance of relationship. Besides, it can help us learn more knowledge about accounting, especially for the partnership. I highly recommend you to watch it.
